I believe words matter. They carry meaning, significance, dimension. Language is the substructure of our shared life. So much can be lost in words or gained in words. Poems inspire action. Prayers prompt deeper yearnings or sensibilities. A sermon, well-written, can motivate, encourage, comfort or challenge. A story invites imagination and participation. Everyday Liturgy is a blog with words which are liturgical for you to return to and reread whatever day you may need these words again.
